Art Escape Deadline Approaching | |
Art Escape, September 9 - 17, 2023
Applications Due April 1
The Bayfield Chamber and Visitor Bureau is still accepting applications for participation in Art Escape!
Area artists will be able to feature their art at a time and date chosen by the artists between September 9-17, 2023. This is a prime opportunity to showcase your art via live demos, workshops, and open houses.
Your event will be included in the Bayfield Chamber and Visitor Bureau Art Escape directory that will be distributed across Bayfield County and target markets in the weeks leading up to the event.

Healthy Boundaries - Healthy boundaries define what is appropriate behavior with regard to our relationships. They keep everyone feeling safe and respected. This boundary class with help you create better boundaries for yourself as well as offer you tools to express and hold the boundaries you set.
Sound Bath Healing - Experience this meditative experience, being bathed in sound waves. Sound baths are produced by various sources, such as singing bowls, percussion, chimes, gongs, rattles, tuning forks, and the human voice.
Kundalini Yoga - Achieve a life full of lightness, joy, and boundless love. Begin to not only become aware of the geometry of your body, but also see how this practice affects the energy, emotion, and motion in your body, quickly and efficiently.
These classes are free for our retreat guests, and open to the public with a $15 drop-in fee or a $120 10-class pass. No fee for our local indigenous community members. Please sign up at the front desk in the Main Retreat Building.

Tickets and sponsorships are on sale for the Golf: Fore the Greater Good Tournament on June 16 in Ashland, sponsored by the Apostle Islands-Chequamegon Bay Area Community Funds.
The event raises funds to support the work of the two funds, which provide grants to nonprofits for community projects and scholarships. The funds are affiliates of the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation. They cover communities throughout the Bayfield peninsula, including Ashland, Bad River, Washburn, Bayfield, Red Cliff, and the Apostle Islands, including Madeline Island.
