Free Membership for Students, Residents, & Fellows

Congratulations to all of the Residency Programs welcoming new Residents in the coming months. As you prepare to onboard new Residents, keep in mind that membership to the Allegheny County Medical Society and the Pennsylvania Medical Society is FREE for the duration of training (this includes students and Fellows). Additionally, as you prepare your orientation plans for your new Residents, the ACMS and PAMED would welcome the opportunity to present to the Resident programs on the importance of belonging to the State and County Medical Societies. National Nutrition Month - Incorporating Healthy Habits into a Busy Schedule

Did you know that March is National Nutrition Month? National Nutrition Month® is an annual campaign created 50 years ago in 1973 by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. During the month of March, everyone is invited to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthful eating and physical activity habits.


In a recent ACMS Insights blog post, Devon Kroesche, MS RDN LDN from Case Specific Nutrition, shares some tips for healthy habits for busy Physicians.
