Deadline Extended: Complete the Annual Retail Sales Survey
Last month, every propane retailer was sent an email and a letter directing them to visit a secure portal on propane.com to complete their company’s report for 2021 retail sales.

Submit your survey by June 15 to help ensure the PPGA receives an accurate amount of state rebate funding from 20 percent of PERC’s annual revenues, and to see that your assessment dollars are used in the most efficient way to support market trends.

Individual responses are kept confidential and anonymous. Only summary statistics are presented in the final report, and data is never disclosed to third parties. The final report is shared on propane.com/salesreport and incorporated into the National and State Propane Profiles, showing market trends by state and region.

If you’re unsure which person at your company is responsible for submitting, please email PERC at salesreport@propane.com.

Ready for EPA's $5 Billion Clean School Bus Funding?
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) soon will be accepting applications for its Clean School Bus Program to fund the replacement of diesel school buses with low-emissions alternatives – like propane autogas – over the next five years. The $5 billion program is part of the federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

You can take steps now to ensure school districts in your area know about the funding and that propane buses are eligible. The PERC resource catalog on propane.com has several important, downloadable fact sheets you can share with school districts in your area:
The PPGA offers training for those employed in the propane industry or looking to obtain propane training certification. Consider registering to send your employees to this valuable training.

To make training more accessible to everyone, classes are held in multiple locations:
  • June – Classes available in Lynden and Pasco, WA
  • July – Classes available in Bend, OR

Registration deadline is two weeks prior to the start of each class.
Comparison: Current vs. Proposed NPGA Constitution and Rules & Procedures
Voting
Accredited Representatives for each company will have the opportunity to vote on the revised Constitution and Rules & Procedures for NPGA starting Tuesday, May 31-Friday, June 9 via electronic voting. Accredited Representatives will receive an instructional e-mail to electronically vote yay, nay, or abstain on behalf of his/her company.

General Information
After more than one year of discussion and review, the Constitution, Rules & Procedures Subcommittee has completed their efforts to update and streamline the NPGA’s Constitution and Rules & Procedures documents. The Subcommittee voted unanimously to approve the updates, and presented the updates to the NPGA Executive Committee, which also voted unanimously to present a resolution to the NPGA Members asking for the approval and adoption of the revised Constitution and Rules & Procedures.

The changes modernize the language for clarity and equalize the terms of the Board Directors to two (2) years with half of the Board scheduled for elections at each cycle.
