2023 Leadership Conference

Earlier this year, Atlantic Housing hosted a Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas. The theme was Operational Excellence, and our community managers, lead service technicians, and corporate employees spent three days focusing on how we can improve our operations to better serve the residents living in our apartment communities.

We hosted speaker sessions, team-building activities, and an awards dinner to recognize our top-performing site teams. The gathering included 110 attendees from six states and 35 different cities, and they left the conference refreshed, connected, and ready to put new ideas into action. As we enter the spring season, we're still reaping the benefits of time well spent and will continue working toward greater excellence in the service of our communities.

Good Friends and Sweet Treats

The Stonebriar Apartments management team invited residents to join them for cupcakes, coloring activities, and Valentine's Day goody bags donated by The Ace Organization. Assistant Community Manager Nancy Blueitt said, "I've worked with Ace for years here at Stone Creek, and they were so kind to ship the goody bags all packed and ready to give."

Nancy has served at Atlantic Housing since 2019. She started as Resident Services Coordinator and was later promoted. She said, "Being able to help and bring activities to the community of all ages is my passion... I know they trust me when they are in need that I will help them in any way I can."

Sharing AHF Scholarship Opportunities

Assistant Community Manager Berenice Villegas and Community Engagement Associate Tania Gutierrez from the Silver Leaf Apartments management team went to Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas to talk about Atlantic Housing Foundation's scholarship program. They shared the scholarship opportunities that are available to both students and teachers. The application window for Spring 2023 awards has now closed, and scholarship recipients will be announced in an upcoming newsletter.
