2021 Health Protection Protocols - Update to Mask Wearing Guidance

On 24 May 2021, USTRANSCOM released Advisory 21-0075 Health Protection Protocols - Update to Mask Wearing Guidance which they state:

The mask guidance previously established as part of the 2020 Health Protection Protocols remains unchanged.

All parties, including customers, must wear masks during the service of household goods regardless of local/state guidelines and/or vaccinations. In addition, it is not up to the customer to advise that masks are not required during service. Per USTC, they are required and the TSP will receive a Letter of Warning if an inspector finds crews not wearing masks.

We will continue to advise our agents and haulers as the DOD continues to review the implication of the revised CDC Mask Wear guidance. If you should have any questions or concerns, please contact Agency Services at agencyservices@nationalforwarding.com.
