USMS-Sponsored Try Masters Swimming
Month of July
Everyone knows that swimming is one of the best exercises for health and fitness. While we should be promoting Masters Swimming all year, July is the month that we focus on bringing others along to Try Masters Swimming. Have your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors been commenting on your trim physique or extra stamina? It is time to invite them to experience all the benefits of our sport.
Try Masters Swimming is everyone's chance to try at least two (2) FREE workouts at participating clubs nationwide during the month of July. For current members, this is a chance to bring a friend into the wonderful world of swimming.
Bring a new recruit to your pool to find out about Masters Swimming, let us know, and we will send you a Pacific Masters swim cap with the new logo on it. For your new cap, submit your information at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RSYFFQB (They do not have to join - just bring them to your club once).
Throughout July, many clubs are making a special effort to grow Pacific Masters and USMS. For a list of clubs that are offering two free workouts, click USMS Try Masters Swimming.

Swim Across America - San Francisco
Saturday, September 24
Swim Across America is "Making Waves to Fight Cancer."
In our lifetime, one in two men and one in three women will be diagnosed with cancer. Pacific Masters is joining the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that.
Form a team, swim individually, or volunteer for the 1.5-mile, current assisted swim starting at Little Marina Green and finishing at Aquatic Park. Sign up for the swim at swimacrossamerica.org/sanfrancisco.
Please support our fellow Pacific Masters swimmers in the Fight Against Cancer by making a donation to their fundraising efforts. Find participating members and their funding page on Swim Across America.

Help Pacific Masters Grow
Win a Pacific Masters Towel!
Pacific Masters logo microfiber towels are starting to be sent out to the first winners of our drawing. Your name can be on that list, and you can receive one of these prestigious towels to show off at our up-coming events.
If you bring a friend to join your club and Pacific Masters, you may enter the monthly drawing for one of these Sports 20 in. X 36 in. microfiber towels, complete with the Pacific Masters logo. It tells other swimmers that you helped grow Masters Swimming.
Just get a new member, or bring back a swimmer who has not been a PacMasters swimmer in the past four years (2018-2021), and have them join Pacific Masters. Then enter their name, your name, and the club name at New Member Towel Drawing.
There will be a drawing for towels on the last day of the month, from April through October. If you bring in a new swimmer from March 1st, 2022 to the end of October, 2022, you are eligible for the drawing.
