Get ready for a day of fun and celebration on Sunday, August 25th!

Gather your family and friends and head over to the Millard Learning Centre (10825 Porlier Pass Road) for an unforgettable experience filled with live outdoor music, art, and dance!

The Musical Walkalong is the perfect way to connect with nature and enjoy the mystical natural beauty of the Southern Gulf Islands. This lively, family-friendly event will have you strolling through the scenic forested trails of the Millard Learning Centre, while enjoying amazing live music and artistic performances along the way.

And the fun doesn’t stop there! In the late afternoon, join us at the Celebration Area for a feature performance by the Coastal Blood Singers, a group of Indigenous drummers and dancers from Penelakut Island. Delicious food prepared by Oxeye Galiano and refreshing beverages from Sea Cider and Four Winds Brewing will be available for purchase. We will also have a selection of nonalcoholic beverages and snacks on hand, including popcorn and Food Forest snow cones.

We want everyone to be a part of this special day, so we’re offering a sliding scale for entry—no one will be turned away because of lack of funds.

In past years, we have experienced lineups at the registration table—purchasing your ticket online in advance allows you to enter the event more rapidly. Plus, if you purchase your tickets by noon on Friday, August 23rd, you’ll be entered into a draw to win a GCA t-shirt of your choice and an organic cotton tote bag!
