Swimming Pool opened May 25th.
The Parkinson's Support Group meets on the second Thursday each month at 2:00 p.m. The meeting is open to YMCA members & non-members. Caregivers are encouraged to attend. If you or someone you know has Parkinson's, there is a Parkinson's Combination Exercise Class and Speech Therapy Class that meets every Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 in the YMCA's downstairs group fitness room. There are chair exercises for the body and speech exercise to strengthen the voice and the muscles used for swallowing. The class is free.

GRAND RIVER SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS
Interested in a career in the live sound engineering field? Grand River School of Performing Arts currently has openings for sound engineer trainees at live shows in the NE Oklahoma region. You'll get hands-on training from a seasoned professional who has more than 35 years of experience working with big name bands and traveling the world. FILM GRAND LAKE
The Chamber's Film Grand Lake Committee had their first meeting this week and we are so excited for the interest that was shown and grateful to everyone that took time out of their day to attend. Thank you to Oklahoma Department of Commerce Film & Music Director Jeanette Stanton and Outreach and Production Manager Yousef Kazemi for spending the day with us and allowing us to show off our beautiful community. We are looking forward to participating in the process to promote Grove and Grand Lake to the state's booming entertainment industry.
Chamber Spring Golf Scramble
The Grove Area Chamber Golf Scramble was a great success, with only a bit of rain at Quail Ridge Golf Course last Friday! Thank you to our presenting sponsor Grand River Abstract & Title Co., lunch sponsor Local Bank, prize sponsor Smith Brothers Abstract, beverage cart sponsors Grand Country Pest Control and AFN Mortgage Grove, and putting green sponsor Grand Savings Bank. The Arvest Bank team came in First Place, Nathanial East was Closest to the Pin, and Dalton Homan Edward Jones-Financial Advisor had the Longest Drive. Thank you to all of the members that sponsored holes, we appreciate each and every one! And, thank you to everyone that came out to play! It was a fantastic tournament and a wonderful day!
