SHAVUOT IS COMING
After a 2 year hiatus due to Covid, our always packed tikun leil program at the Pear home, HaPalmach 54 is returning this year with a great line-up. Doors open and Refreshments begin at 11:30 PM, followed by shiurim at 12 AM lasting all through the night.
Shir Hadash will also be hosting a communal meal Shavuot Night (Motzei Shabbat, June 4th) prior to the tikun leil.
Following the meal at roughly 10:15 PM, Dr. Julie Goldstein, the Rosh Midrasha of our Amudim program, will deliver a shiur open to all.
Cost of the meal is 80 NIS per person. To reserve your space, make payment here, and then e-mail shirhadash613@gmail.com with a copy of your receipt and the number of attendees.
Yom Yerushalayim & Rosh Chodesh
Save the Dates: On Sunday morning (May 29th, Yom Yerushalayim) and Tuesday morning, April 1st), Hallel will be a part of the tephillot. In celebration of these special days, we will have special guests lead us for both of these Hallels. Be sure to join us.
UPCOMING ...
Perhaps you've noticed that the last few weeks we've made a conscious effort to elevate the nature of our tephillot by bringing in special guest ba'alei tephilla. We hope to continue to do so throughout the summer ... but we need your help.
First, we need your participation and your voice; it really makes a difference when the hall is full, as it was last Friday night, so please make the effort when possible to join us.
Second, give us feedback. Which ba'al tephillla did you connect to the most? Knowing this information allows us to plan accordingly going forward.
Finally, if there is a Shabbat coming up that's particularly meaningful for you, consider sponsoring the ba'al tephilla's visit for that week (just as one might sponsor a kiddush). For more information and sponsorship opportunities, e-mail shirhadash613@gmail.com.
