Hybrid & Remote Work Policy
Dear Assumption Faculty and Staff,

I am pleased to introduce a new policy for hybrid or remote work for Assumption University staff. This policy seeks to balance important values: flexibility for staff and the imperatives of serving students, facilitating collaboration, and maintaining a lively campus environment.
This policy reflects a confidence that we can successfully balance these values by permitting many staff to work remotely a limited number of days per week. Whether this policy works for any given individual, and the frequency of remote work, will depend on his or her job, especially whether it entails serving students in person. If you’re interested, please contact your supervisor. While this policy seeks to provide flexibility to staff, we will continue to teach undergraduate classes in person.
