Service Showcase + Celebration 

The CSL's Service Showcase is on April 20 at 3:30 - 4:30pm CDT!


The annual Service Showcase and Celebration recognizes a year of service and community-engaged work at KU.


The Service Showcase is an opportunity for students to share their service projects and experiences with the University community and Lawrence community partners.


If you've been participating in service through a course, student organization, or on your own, we encourage you to submit a proposal for the Service Showcase presentation opportunity!

Service Opportunity Spotlight: 

Lawrence-Douglas County Housing Authority

Lawrence-Douglas County Housing Authority is hosting its first annual Edge Fest at Edgewood Homes on Saturday, April 29 from 1pm - 4pm.


This event will include food, a live DJ, a bounce house, face painting, balloon animals and a number of community partners who will have their own table at this event.


LDCHA is looking for volunteers who can assist with set-up, tear down, food prep, face painting, balloon animals, crowd navigation, etc. 


Volunteers are needed from 12pm - 5pm on April 29. Sign up to Volunteer!

Service Learning Opportunity: 

Certificate in Service Learning

We invite you to consider earning a Certificate in Service LearningDuring the 2021-2022 academic year, 57 students were awarded a certificate in Service Learning.


Obtaining your certificate involves taking classes, engaging in volunteer work, and reflecting on your service learning experiences. Once you have earned the certificate, it is acknowledged on your official academic transcript.

of the Certificate in Service Learning, please email our
