Memorial Day design with saluting soldiers.
Happy Memorial Day 2021!

Sending thanks and gratitude to all of our active military and veterans who have served our country. Wishing everyone a safe and happy weekend and hoping you are able to enjoy time with family and friends.
We have a lot to celebrate as we see the pandemic coming to an end and life returning to normal. It's been a long and difficult 15 months but we are tough and have gotten through this trying time. Hugs and prayers to those who have lost loved ones and friends. May their memory be a blessing now and forever.

Cruise Line Updates...

The cruise industry is seeing a huge demand from people ready to hit the high seas. I've been very busy booking cabins starting in November, 2021. Cruises for 2022 and beyond are filling up very quickly especially accessible staterooms. I recommend securing a cabin now and reserve with a refundable deposit.

Debra & Steve's Medical Update...

Happy to report that both of us are making excellent progress following our falls in March. I had three pelvic fractures and Steve broke his hip. Going through this together was not fun but we are very grateful to our wonderful family who came from afar to help make sure we were well fed, able to get to our appointments and take our medication. We are blessed to live in a great neighborhood. Neighbors brought meals for us and gift cards so we wouldn't starve (or lose any weight!). We're on our own now and both of us are back to work. Steve is walking with a cane and going to physical therapy three times a week and hoping to give up the cane in the near future.
We appreciate everyone's concern and caring.
Vaccine for COVID-19 in 2021 is closer to reality. COVID-19 Vaccine. vaccine against coronavirus disease 2019 will be available on 2021. 2021-new year with corona virus vaccine concept.
Have You Received Your
Vaccine Yet???

While we know that not everyone will get vaccinated, we believe very strongly that this is the right thing to do. We are coming to the end of 15 months of isolation and suffering and we need to come together so that all of us feel safe. I will require my group participants to be vaccinated for my safety and theirs as well as the safety of other travelers.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL NEED THE VACCINE FOR MOST TRAVEL.

ALASKA 2021

ALASKA IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS BEGINNING END OF JULY, 2021

The Alaska Tourism Recovery Act was signed into law this week. This is fantastic news for cruisers and for the state of Alaska who depends on tourism to support much of their economy. The law allows cruise ships to cruise to US ports without the mandatory stop in a foreign port (Canada). Interested in an Alaska Cruise this summer? Call me and let's get you booked! 800.920.8989

Celebrity Edge to be first cruise ship sailing the Caribbean from Ft. Lauderdale on June 26, 2021

We all know what this means! Other ships to follow as new announcements are being made daily as CDC updates their guidelines and protocols at an astonishing rate. Hard to keep up with the constant changes! At this time, all guests 16 and older MUST be VACCINATED and passed the 14 day period after their second shot. As of August 1, it will require this of all guests 12 and older.

MY PANDEMIC READING LIST

Everyone seems to be enjoying my "Pandemic Reading List" and the books I've read since March, 2020. I'm enjoying your comments and book suggestions! Books below in red are my newest reads. I truly love escaping into the pages and lives of the characters.

Fly Away Home by Jennifer Weiner
Cooking For Picasso by Camille Aubrey
Educated by Tara Westover
Summer of 69 by Elin Hilderbrand
Big Summer by Jennifer Weiner
A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles
Florence Adler Swims Forever by Rachel Beanland
American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins
An Unorthodox Match by Naomi Ragen
Beneath A Scarlett Sky by Mark Sullivan
The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah
Eli's Promise by Ronald Balson
Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate ( One of my favorites!)
Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
The Last Tackle by James Wallgren (read review above)
The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett
Bel Canto by Ann Patchett
Time For Mercy by John Grisham
Lost Friends by Lisa Wingate
The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson
Four Winds by Kristin Hannah
The Midnight Library by Matt Haig (not a favorite!)
That Summer by Jennifer Weiner (currently reading)

Some of these are easy reading (Chick Lit) but some are fairly intense. Enjoyed every one of these books. Reading is a great escape to another time and place which I think we can all benefit from
New House UPDATE:

The house is moving along and soon that pile of rocks and the bricks behind them will be adorning my new home. The drywall is up and cabinetry should be installed in the very near future. We have had a LOT of rain in recent weeks so our closing date has been pushed back a little. I'm keeping busy getting things packed as well as selling a lot of items that I've collected over the years. No matter how much I get rid of, I still seem to have too much of everything!
We Do Individual & Group Travel
Do you know that we actually plan more trips for individuals than we do for our groups? We love when you participate in our groups but please remember to call us when you want to plan a vacation for the two of you or with a group of friends or family members. We can most likely plan any type of vacation you want and we will be sure to address all your accessibility requirements and needs. We so enjoy doing the research for you and look forward to planning that next trip just for you! Also, if you see one of our groups that you would like to do but perhaps the dates don't work, give us a call. We can usually duplicate the same trip just for you and your travel companions.
