Florida-bred Cagliostro To Try Blame Off Keeneland Allowance Score

Multiple graded stakes-placed Cagliostro will try to boost those credentials Saturday at Churchill Downs when the Florida-bred colt returns to added-money company in the Grade 3 Blame. The Cherie DeVaux-trained Cagliaostro will face 10 other 3-year-olds and older going a mile-and-one-eighth on the main track with a purse of $250,000.

Golden Kernel Racing Stable’s Lady Cha Cha has been labeled the 2-1 morning line favorite for Friday’s seventh race at Gulfstream Park, a first level, $20,000 optional claiming for Florida-bred fillies and mares. With a purse of $48,000, the race has attracted a field of seven scheduled to go a mile-and-a-sixteenth on the grass.
