Moreno Valley Celebrates Grand Opening of Sprouts Farmers Market
Sprouts Farmers Market has officially opened in Moreno Valley!

Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez and the Moreno Valley City Council officially cut the ribbon to open Moreno Valley's latest natural and organic market.

Scores of residents attended Sprouts' grand opening event, which featured raffles, giveaway, and free artisan coffee. Sprouts also donated $5,000 to help grow the City's new Community Demonstration Garden.

Our July Job Fair is Next Week
Are you looking for a job? Moreno Valley's latest job fair is next week!

Our latest job fair will take place on Wednesday, July 20, from 9 am to 1 pm at the Conference and Recreation Center. Join the Moreno Valley City Council, the Loma Linda VA, and dozens of local businesses to take the first step in securing your next career.

Our job fair will also feature 30-minute speed workshops on resume writing, apprenticeship programs, and access to VA benefits.

MoVal Expands Free WiFi Gardens to
Three More Parks
Free WiFi Gardens are now available at three more Moreno Valley parks—Adrienne Mitchell Memorial Park, Moreno Valley Community Park, and Sunnymead Park!

These new WiFi Gardens bring the total to 26 locations throughout Moreno Valley, giving residents more internet access across City parks and facilities. 

WiFi Gardens allows residents password-free access to the internet via the “ILoveMoVal” network. To gain access, look for the green WiFi Gardens signage in and around a City park or facility.

A Visit to Bethune Park
July is National Parks & Recreation Month, and to celebrate, we're highlighting a few of our 33 parks throughout Moreno Valley. 

Bethune Park is a six-acre park located at 16745 Kitching Street, next to Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary. Bethune Park features a playground, several shaded picnic shelters, a baseball/softball field, lighted tennis courts, and an exciting water feature that is the perfect spot to beat the heat on a hot summer day.

Pet of the Week: Scout
Our Pet of the Week is Scout, a lovable one-year-old tri-colored smooth collie mix. Scout is incredibly sweet, and a good scratch is all he needs to know that he has found himself a new lifelong friend. Scout is sure to bring great joy into anyone’s home.
