School Supplies for Kids!
You might be interested to know Haiti Cheri has partnered with Connection Church in Roswell, GA for outreach in the local immigrant community. The church was planted by Pastor Oris Guillaume, Haiti Cheri's founder and visionary. We will have more to say about that in an upcoming update, but in the meantime, we want to tell you about a blessing provided by our ministry partner Revolution Church.
Revolution Church has an annual event in North Georgia called Give a Kid a Chance. They provide thousands of backpacks filled with school supplies to kids in need. It's a festive event, and the kids and parents are grateful to get their kids off to a good start in school. This year, Revolution Church generously provided a nice supply of backpacks to Haiti Cheri, and Connection Church was able to have their very own event for kids. Not only that, there is a church consisting of immigrants primarily from Honduras that meets in the same building. Connection Church was able to share with that church as well, so the gift from Revolution went to both the Haitian community and the Hispanic community. We will also be sending some backpacks to Haiti for the kids there. Thank you Revolution church for making this far-reaching blessing possible!

Food For Dolval
But wait, there's more thanksgiving! Last month Pastor Oris wrote about hunger in Dolval due to local famine and the general food insecurity in Haiti. That update resonated with many of you and you gave. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to send $3500 to Haiti to buy food for the community. Gethro Clebert, our go-to guy in Haiti, is arranging the purchase and transportation to the village. They don't know it yet, but the community is in for a wonderful surprise very soon!
