Secretary of State Ambassadors Recognized for Winning State Competition
Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and the Johns Creek Mayor and City Council recognized Student Leadership Johns Creek members who won the Secretary of State Ambassadors 2021-2022 State Championship and District 6 competition for the fifth consecutive year.

The competition provides leadership experience while teaching Georgia civics to their peers and increasing engagement by organizing and hosting events that encourage voter participation.
.
The team worked on numerous voter registration drives, hosted two City Council and Mayoral candidate debates, and worked with the City to launch the Student Public Safety Academy.
.
The ambassadors include: Anastacia Stoyanov, Harrison Frank, Aashwin Sharma, Shruti Nemala, Tara Ramesh, Tiya Ranchod, Peter Gottschalk, Ava Sun, and Poorvi Iyer.

Application OPEN for Upcoming SOS Ambassador Program - Deadline is Approaching!
Members from both the class of 2023 and class of 2024 are eligible to participate in this program. We choose 9 total individuals.

Congratulations to the 2021-22 Ambassadors for WINNING THE STATEWIDE COMPETITION THIS YEAR!
As a reminder, this is an additional time commitment on top of the SLJC Program.
