Beginning with a White Coat
Our Class of 2028 received white coats as they started working towards earning their DMD degrees to become dentists. At the event, three students from the upper classes received the school’s Professionalism Award.

Crossing the Atlantic for RSDM Externship
RSDM hosted two students from Ireland for a two-week externship this summer. These opportunities provide dental students from abroad to get exposure to dental school in the United States. Besides Ireland, RSDM also has externships with universities in Albania, Spain, Chile, and India.

RSDM, along with New Jersey Medical School and the School of Health Professions, went to Saint Benedict's Prep School's health professions fair, where hundreds of 7th to 12th graders got a chance to talk with our faculty and third-year student Adriana Atiencia (center) about dental school and careers in dentistry. | |
RSDM resumes its old, but newly named "Café Connections" event for faculty and staff to gather and connect held every month.
The next event is on October 2 at the Oral Health Pavilion.

Clinical Professor Paul Rosen (pictured) and Director of Research Georgios Kotsakis attended the 2024 AAP/AO Joint Consensus Conference on Peri-Implantitis. Rosen was one of the two symposium chairs. Forty renowned specialists came together and developed recommendations establishing new clinical guidelines for peri-implantitis. | |
