At this time, masks are optional; however, let us be mindful of the needs of those around us. May we respect and love one another whether wearing a mask or going without. In the Sanctuary if someone is wearing a mask, please leave some space if you are not wearing one.

As Matthew 7:12 says, "Treat others as you would want to be treated."

Dilworth Church is full of ministry activities during the summer even while you may be away. When you are home, please join us for worship and ministry. While you are away, keep us in prayer to be Christ’s love in the world. May you find fun, rest, and refreshment of body and soul in the coming days.

Altar Flower Sign-Ups

If you would like to provide the altar flowers for Sunday Worship there are a few ways to sign-up to do so. If you are at the church, you can come by Madison Rubottom's office and use the sign-up sheet posted on her door. The Church Office will be closed on Monday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. Please feel free to call or email to leave a message and the staff will get back to you on Tuesday, July 5th.

Confirmation

Confirmation is a year-long journey that gives youth the opportunity to examine a person's faith with the hope that they will have enough experiences and knowledge to claim their faith as their own. Confirmation is meant to help us love God with all our heart & mind by exploring and discussing faith, thinking critically, and understanding the “why” behind church and Christianity.

We offer this experience to anyone 6th grade and up! If you or your child are interested in finding out more, please reach out to Sallie Anna Broome at sallieanna.broome@dilworthchurch.org

Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Day at the Lake

We hope you can join us on Saturday, July 16, 2022, for the 18th Annual Big Day at the Lake!

What is Big Day at the Lake? Each year, hundreds of Bigs and Littles enjoy a memory-making day of fun on Lake Norman and Lake Wylie.

Volunteer “boat hosts” share their love of boating with matches. Together, they spend the morning exploring and enjoying the lake, followed by a festive picnic with fun activities for everyone

Dine Out Dilworth

Sign up to join Dilworth for a night of fellowship and fine dining on Saturday, July 30th, 5:30 pm-7:30 pm. Participants will meet at the church to find out where they are going out for dinner and with whom! After our groups enjoy dinner at different local restaurants we will meet back at the church for dessert. Childcare will be provided. Summer Bible Study

The first session of a fun, 6-week, Bible study focusing on Heroes & Heroines of the Bible begins this Wednesday, July 6^th! Meet Pastor Michelle in the Multi-Purpose room at 10 am to look at some fascinating people from the Bible. We hope to see you there!

New Women’s Circle starting up

What is a Circle? It’s a group of women whose purpose is to know God, develop a supportive community, and participate in local and global missions. A new Circle is forming for women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. If you’re interested in learning more, join us for a gathering on Wed. July 27th at Protagonist @ 6:30 pm. RSVP here.
