The Each One, Feed One Food Drive had just over 30 drop-off sites that brought in almost 3,500 pounds of non-perishable items. We are very thankful for everyone that participated in this drive at such a critical time of the year.
Many of our volunteers reflected on the amount of donations they collected at their drop-off site, and noted how they did not receive as many donations as past years. That is a trend we have found ourselves noticing as well, but we are seeing the need in our community continue to increase.
In June, we served nearly 400 families. That number exceeds our busiest month by nearly 100 households. Out of the 400 households served, we had over 120 new households visit us.
More and more individuals are needing our services, and we are going to need all of the help that we can get to be able to ensure that we can continue serving our neighbors.
Every donations makes a difference.
