Greetings!

Greetings! I hope you are all doing well, especially with everything going on in our world. I am filled with many emotions as I write this newsletter because it will be my final responsibility as the Outreach Director at Monroe County United Ministries. On July 19th, I will be packing up the last five years and moving on to a new endeavor.

I can’t explain how thankful I am for the many opportunities this organization has provided me to grow and learn under the guidance of many amazing women. The past five years have taught me so much about what I want for my future and what I need to do to be able to achieve my goals. It has shown me how important it is to surround yourself with people who understand the importance of working together and supporting one another. I know that I couldn’t have made it this far without the wonderful people I have met throughout my time here.

I have appreciated the opportunities I have had to work with the many great people in the community and it has been an honor to educate others about something as special as MCUM. The emphasis that the organization places on respecting the people that walk through the doors and to look at each of them as individuals with different wants and needs is something that I have always admired. My experiences have made me an advocate for life in this organization and I hope that they do the same for you.

Thank you for the last 5 years. I couldn't have done my role without the help of this amazing community.

As always, feel free to reach out to Mary Jean, if you have any questions about all the amazing things going on at MCUM.

All my best,

Madison Silvers
Outreach Director
