Living Lutheran Magazine Subscription
Request due by December 17th
St. Marks notified those receiving the Living Lutheran Subscription at the group rate that they will longer be providing this discount due to the continued budget deficit from unpaid subscription fees. You can sign up for a subscription on your own, for about $20/yr. However, if a minimum of 25 households decide that they would like to continue receiving the Living Lutheran magazine through St. Marks, you will be charged a rate of only $10/yr. Please notify Dan Dudde by December 17th if you are interested in this group magazine rate.

WNC Baptist Fellowship
Donations Needed
It is no secret that y'all are so giving of your time, your talents, and your resources. And this is the time of year when so much is asked of members of St. Mark's, but that is because the need is always so great. Another of those needs was recently brought to our attention by Rev. Ray at WNC Baptist Fellowship Church.
They are in dire need of a new furnace in one of their buildings so they might be able to open the Sunday School rooms and offices this January for tutoring and after school programs. WNCBF is a familiar place for these kids to be (and for their parents to know they are there), so UNCA and the Baptist Ministerial Association are needing them to open this space after being closed for over a year due to the pandemic. But without a new furnace, there is no heat, and these kids would, once again, not have a safe place to be after school. If you find yourself in a position to help them financially, Rev Ray would be so, so grateful. Were you going to send them a Christmas card anyway? Are you able to add a check with it? Rev. Ray is not one to ask for help like this, but letting these kids down is not an option for him, and he knows that God WILL find a way!! Their address is 240 Haywood St., Asheville, NC 28801. There is also a mail slot in the door at the church if you would rather drop it off personally. God's Work, Our Hands!
Please contact Debbie Layne for more details.
