THE CLUB AT HARBOR POINT
WEEKLY UPDATE

A worthy New Year's resolution, perhaps, is to take no hatred into the New Year without requiring it to restate its purpose.

Happy New Year, Harbor Point!
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and New Year, and have a 2023 full of Happiness, Love, and Laughter....
We are looking forward to a new year with some big additions to the Club. We are waiting for the permitting to go through on our Solar Ports, then will break ground as soon as we get the green light. In the coming weeks we'll try to get some information in the lobby to help illustrate what the project will look like and the benefits.
We also have a deck project getting queued up where we will be replacing the clubhouse deck, but also expanding it a bit. We were hoping to break ground on this in January, but everything seems a bit delayed. We'll keep you posted.
There are other smaller items, but I'll save those for another time.
Speaking of improvements, I know some of you have been asking about improving the court cameras. It is a long story, but we are working with the installer to get those working better. Unfortunately, he has had personal things come up that have delayed the repairs...but, rest assured, we'll get there, so that the cameras are functioning well again. Currently Courts 1 & 2 camera comes up, but it can take a really long time. And the Court 3 & 4 camera asks for a username and password. Not good.
In other news:
Don't forget to check out and download the photos from the Holiday Party - Photos by Gary Ferber - Thank you, Gary!

The Home Town episode featuring the reveal of their home aired on January 1, and it was a hoot! Really well done, actually, and interesting too. It is quite enjoyable and worth tracking down.
The Home Town episode is Episode 4 from Season 7, and is called "Ginkgos and Gondolas". It is now available for streaming via FUBO.TV, HGTV, Discovery +, and for rent on Amazon Prime and Youtube

And, don't toss those expired tests...yet.
To help you navigate the COVID Winter surge (oh joy!), we have Flowflex COVID Antigen Home Tests available for sale at Harbor Point ($9.95 + tax). The tests say they expire in March of 2023, BUT all Flowflex tests have been given an extension of 8 months, so they actually expire in November of 2023. You can see the FDA extension approval by CLICKING HERE.
On that note, you may want to check on extensions for any tests you may already have at home. It is likely that the expiration has been extended for any COVID tests you may already have in stock. CLICK HERE to learn more.

Her GYROTONIC and Pilates sessions can stimulate your muscle, skeletal, and nervous systems to increase strength and joint mobilization, as well as decompress the spine, so your whole body experiences greater vitality in a natural way. For beginners and experienced athletes, too.

I am loving Gyrotonic, and Carla is just fabulous. It has made me stronger and more flexible from just a few sessions, and is gradually improving the way I sit, stand, and move. Very subtle and pretty amazing stuff.

The section below is dedicated to musicians who have passed away over the last week. When I started this almost 2 years ago, it was strictly musicians who died from COVID-19. I have since expanded to musicians from all around the world who have passed from a range of causes, though for many, COVID-19 is still the culprit. Most of these musicians are likely unknown to you, but they have surely touched the hearts and souls of many in their home countries, if not around the world.
I hope you take a listen and enjoy their offerings.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)
Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"
