Fitness with Equilibrium at Deer Park Town Center
Get a healthy start to your day tomorrow, May 14 at 9:00 am with a FREE small group socially distant fitness class led by Equilibrium Personal Training Studio at Deer Park Town Center, 20530 N. Rand Rd. If you can't make it tomorrow, additional classes will be held on select Wednesdays and Fridays in May and June. Barrington Fire Dept. Hosts Blood Drive Tomorrow
The Village of Barrington Fire Dept. will host a Blood Drive tomorrow, May 14 from 2:00 - 7:00 pm at the Barrington Public Safety Building, 400 N. Northwest Hwy. Each day in the U.S., patients in hospitals and emergency treatment facilities need approximately 36,000 units of red blood cells. Please consider donating. Bite-Size Chocolate in Long Grove This Weekend
Save the date for an outdoor bite-size chocolate event May 14-16 hosted by the Historic Downtown Long Grove Business Association. "For the Love of Chocolate" will include chocolate demos, classes, vendors, chocolatiers, entertainment and more. Rahab's Daughters' Paw-A-Thon This Saturday
Rahab's Daughters will host a Paw-A-Thon in-person event this Saturday, May 15 from 9:00 am-noon at Citizen's Park, 511 North Lake Zurich Rd. in Barrington. Walk with your dog to support the mission of Rahab's Daughters: rescuing and rehabilitating survivors of human trafficking alongside their protection and therapy animals. McConchie Co-Hosts FREE Vaccinations
Illinois State Senator Dan McConchie will co-host FREE COVID-19 vaccination clinics on Saturday, May 15 and Saturday, June 5 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Algonquin Public Works Facility, 110 Meyer Dr. in Algonquin. Walgreens will administer the two-dose Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to anyone ages 16 and older. Those receiving a vaccination on May 15, will need to attend the same clinic on June 5. Barrington's White House will host a virtual discussion and exhibition of classical fine art inspired by the Old World with Diane Hynes on Thursday, May 20 at 6:30 pm. Hynes began painting at age 11, was trained at the American Academy of Art, and has been a member of the Palette and Chisel for more than 30 years.
