Are you interested in becoming a Board Member?
The Arapahoe-Douglas-Elbert Medical Society (ADEMS) Board of Directors is seeking a physician participant on our Board of Directors to fill an open member-at-large seat.

ADEMS serves as an advocate to its approximate 850 physician members living and working in our counties. ADEMS is not for profit and is a component organization of the Colorado Medical Society. ADEMS proudly partners with the six area hospitals (Porter, Littleton, Swedish, Sky Ridge, Parker, Castle Rock) and one medical school (Rocky Vista University) in our catchment area to advocate, coordinate and develop educational, legislative and social programs for physicians in our community. With frequent publications and programs sharing available resources, ADEMS helps physicians navigate through the rapidly evolving practice environment and the ever changing requirements in the practice of medicine. The Board guides the programming and together with CMS we work diligently to advocate for our physicians and ensure our members have access to timely information and resources.

Would you be interested in participating? The ADEMS members-at-large position is a great start to see what organized medicine is all about. Members-at-large serve two year terms with an option for another two years. Board meetings are scheduled bimonthly and alternate with in person and virtual meetings. Meetings typically fall on the 3rd Tuesday of the month beginning at 6:30PM and last one hour. The approximate time commitment is 1 hour/month for this position. Dinner is always provided for in person meetings and they are held at ADEMS office location, 8080 SouthPark Lane, Littleton.

For more information or inquiries, contact Executive Director, Andrea Chase via email: ADEMSstaff@gmail.com. Thank you for your consideration!
Did you miss Legislative Night 2021?

It was focused on presenting the top legislative issues upcoming in 2022 and presented by the advocacy team at CMS. With the legislative session convening on January 12, 2022, it is important to be up to date on legislative matters and what it means to you and your practice.
