Property Sales Force Committee Update
The Property Sales Force committee asked three brokers to submit proposals for the sale of 25 N. Washington. These brokers were chosen because they have or had recent listings and or sales on St. Armands Key. Prior to that meeting, the Church Council decided not to select an agent from the congregation as they did not want to cause any hard feelings or create a conflict
of interest. However, we would be delighted if an agent from the congregation could bring an offer.
At our June 18 meeting, the proposals were reviewed by committee at which time Peter Laughlin of the Laughlin Tanner Group was selected to do an in person interview with the committee.
On July 5, 2024, the committee met in person with Peter to discuss marketing and listing details. A listing agreement was signed and the property will go on market toward the end of July for 1995,000.
If you have questions, feel free to contact committee members: Ernie Smith, Lois Robinson (chairman), Doug Engebretson, Ellen Kelleher Alan Graf Jr., Tom Siegfried, and Kurt Wilkening.

SAKLC Training to Go Tutorials
Are you looking for tech training to help you access our online worship services, events, and resources? Print copies of Training to Go tutorials are now available in the narthex by the hallway entrance! It is a series of short, self-paced tutorials with clear, step-by-step directions and illustrations, designed with our technology beginners in mind. These tutorials focus on the skills and strategies needed to access church information and participate in online worship services and events. The current titles are as follows.
- Tutorial 1: Using QR Codes to Access Online Information
- Tutorial 2: Accessing Live Worship Services Using the SAKLC Website
- Tutorial 3: Accessing Live Worship Services Using Social Media
- Tutorial 4: Accessing Past Worship Services and Events
- Tutorial 5: Using Zoom as a Participant (available in the fall)
Other training opportunities will follow based on newly introduced technologies and the congregants' needs. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Ladd Skelly at techtraining@saklc.com.

Community Service Ministry's July Drive
Community Service Ministry is holding an in-kind drive of school supplies for the month of July. The donated school supplies will go to one of our local schools (Alta Vista Elementary) where two of our members are teachers. Below is a description of the school & a list of the needed supplies. If you are out of town for the summer, please feel free to mail it to the Church!
Alta Vista Elementary is a Title I school that provides additional resources to economically disadvantaged students. These resources provide additional teachers, professional development, parent involvement activities, and other activities designed to raise student achievement. However, most of the students lack the resources needed to purchase school supplies. If you are able to donate some school supplies, it would be greatly appreciated! Ingrid Messina and Amy Blyth (SAKLC congregants) work with these children at Alta Vista, and this school is near and dear to their hearts.
