Hello ECC Families and Caregivers,
We will have our first field trip this school year on Wednesday May 4th. We will go to the Children's Museum in Boston. A field trip permission form was sent through an email on April 15th; it is linked here again. If we haven’t received the form, your child will not be able to attend. We would love to have your child join us! Parents can join too!

Our Kindergarten team will have a Parent/Caregiver and Teacher Conference on May 18th. Our Kindergarten teachers - Hannah and Aiken - will reach out to families to schedule a meeting. You do have an option to meet on Zoom or in person. We also offer childcare if you choose to come in person. We are looking forward to seeing you!

This year we will move our ECC Moving Up ceremony for our Kindergarten to an earlier date. It will be held in June. More details will come soon!

Here’s some pictures we took recently. Luna, Brittany’s dog, came and met with our ECC students. And Lucas was thrilled that he spent lunch with two of our ECC assistants during their lunch break. Some of our ECC students were at our Outdoor Classroom trying to figure out with the wheel. I see so many skills in all areas happening recently- especially with their language and social emotional development:
I also wanted to share that ECC will be using the Brightwheel software to communicate with families. As soon as our staff completes training, we will roll out this pilot this school year. We also would like to use this communication platform in the upcoming fall. This platform is a great way to connect to your child’s development and you will always be in the know with messaging and a built in calendar. It has everything in one place. You would not need to find answers in emails or printed documents. If you want to learn more about this platform, here’s the link to the video.
Enjoy your weekend with your loved ones!
