We are collecting the following items in April in support of the food pantry at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church: children's lunch box size snacks (Goldfish crackers, granola bars, fruit snacks, breakfast bars), rice (white or brown), dried beans (black, red, garbanzo or pinto). The KCC Men's Ministry will host Breakfast at Knollwood on May 18th from 8:00-9:30 am. We’ll enjoy some tasty burritos from Anita’s Restaurant and Karl Kakadelis, Executive Director of Grace Ministries and Teaching Pastor at Grace Bible Fellowship, will be our special guest speaker. Karl has dedicated a lifetime to helping people understand their true identity in Christ and how to experience genuine freedom in their daily lives. This past weekend Knollwood was the beneficiary of an Eagle project led by Erik Cobb, supported by 6 tons of gravel donated by Vulcan Construction Services. With the hard work of many scouts from Troop 1115, the enclosed area around the exterior components of our HVAC system was transformed from a muddy, weed covered area into an edged, organized and gravel covered space providing safer access and lower maintenance for years to come. The project was well executed. Thank you to Erik, the work team, troop leadership, and the generous donation of materials by Vulcan. Knollwood is grateful for your kind support!

The first 11 chapters of Genesis are incredibly important as they set the foundation for the rest of the story the Bible tells! However, there are some rather "difficult to understand" events that occur in those same chapters.
