"Project Sun" Details Announced

in Southern California



  • EDCSWCA - Southern California's leader for business relocation, expansion and growth recently revealed details of "Project Sun."


  • Taiwanese companies PV Circonomy and EasyCycle plan to bring their hardware and software companies to the region, the first of their kind in the United States. Their innovative technology allows for the recycling of up to 99% of the material from solar panels, something that is not possible anywhere else.

Anaheim City Council Approves ‘Disneyland Forward’ Expansion Plans



  • The Disneyland Forward project is meant to expand development and add hotel rooms to the theme park by utilizing about 57 acres of parking and unused land. The plan is essentially a shuffling around of previously approved zoning to allow for more attractions, hotel rooms and other entertainment and attractions without expanding the theme park.


  • The project will increase zoning for theme park attractions, hotels, retail and dining from 292 acres to 389 acres. Theme Park attractions will be added to the Pixar Place Hotel property and on part of the Toy Story parking lot.

Rancho Cucamonga's Transit-Oriented Development Will Open The Next Frontier for Southern California Business



  • A cornerstone of the City's recent General Plan is the HART District, a new transit-oriented, mixed-use housing, retail, and commercial district.


  • The HART District is designed to be a key economic catalyst in the region, creating a lifestyle and commerce hub unlike any other in the Inland Empire.


  • "With more than 2,500 units of housing and additional several million square feet of non-residential retail, office, hospitality and manufacturing space being developed, the HART District area will be the larget transit-oriented city center and urban neighborhood in the entire Inland Empire" said City of Rancho Cucamonga Mayor L. Dennis Michael.

Greater Sacramento Economic Council-



Golden 1 Center Serves as Major Economic Driver in Greater Sacramento, Providing $665 Million Annually


  • According to recently released data from the Downtown Sacramento Partnership, since the arena’s groundbreaking in 2016, there has been an estimated investment of over $7 billion in the central city, and the Entertainment District (in which Golden 1 Center is positioned) is outpacing the rest of the downtown core by over 16% growth in assessment value. 


  • In fiscal year 2022-23, Golden 1 Center hosted over 127 ticketed events, including NBA games, concerts, shows and other sporting events, attracting more than 1.5 million attendees. The analysis showcases the economic ecosystem supported by the arena, revealing significant contributions, job creation and growth to the Greater Sacramento region.
