Youth Mental Health First Aid Training
NEXT Saturday, April 30
8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Parents and adults are invited to participate in our second Youth Mental Health First Aid Training. This training teaches adults how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth. This 8-hour training gives parents/mentors/adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to children and adolescents (ages 6-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.

Calling all St. Michael's Children & Youth! We want you to greet, usher, acolyte, chalice bear, and read at our worship services on May 1! Children & Youth of all ages are encouraged to participate, and everyone is invited to attend worship to support and spotlight our children & youth. Owen will be preaching as well!

Cherub Choir
Children ages 4 through 6th grade

Cherub choir is back for 2022! We will rehearse once a month for 30 minutes following the 10:30 service and will sing at our Children & Youth Sunday Service.

Children will meet Amalia in front of the altar following the conclusion of service, take them to the choir room, and bring them back to coffee hour. Children will be masked while indoors.

Cathedral Ridge Work Weekend
May 20 - 21

High Schoolers are invited to participate in Cathedral Ridge's Spring Work Weekend. Cathedral Ridge is the Camp & Retreat Center for the diocese of Colorado and provides us with great facilities and activities for retreats, family camps, and summer camps! Come spend the night on Friday and spend Saturday giving back to this wonderful place and helping them get ready for summer camp season!

Vacation Bible School: Views from the Mountaintop
July 12- 14
5:00 - 7:30 PM

Children from 4 years old to rising 6th graders are invited to participate in Vacation Bible School this Summer! Our "Views from the Mountaintop" program will be an engaging and immersive experience for children to learn about God, participate in fun activities and games, as well as build relationships with other children and their adult leaders! Numerous stories in both the old and new testament include encounters with God from the top of a mountain. Join us as we create our own encounters this summer!

Vacation Bible School relies on Adult Volunteers and Teen Helpers to operate! Please fill out the Adult Volunteer or Teen Helper registration if you are interested!

High School Youth Council

All high school youth are invited to join our youth leadership team. The members of this group will cultivate valuable leadership skills, and exercise these skills by providing feedback, vision, and energy for our Youth program. 2022 focuses will be organizing a spring youth retreat, discovering and engaging in service opportunities, and engaging in continued learning. Cathedral Ridge Camp & Retreat Center

We are excited to announce another weekend of family camp for 2022! Families of all ages are invited to unplug, relax, and delight in the beauty of God's creation. Enjoy a long weekend of delicious meals, arts & crafts, high ropes & archery, field games, worship, s'mores, and so much more! Intergenerational as well as age-appropriate activities will be offered. Cost is $200 per adult and $150 per child. Scholarships are readily available.

Cathedral Ridge Children & Youth Camps
July & August

Children and Youth camps are a wonderful opportunity to connect with God and experience Christian community in a non-church setting. Cathedral Ridge primary, middle school and high school camps are carefully designed to build faith in a fun and safe environment. In 2022, camps will explore the Way of Love: Turn. Learn. Pray. Worship. Bless. Go. Rest. These are core spiritual practices that can be explored and embraced at every age and stage of faith. Each day will include worship and Bible study, and outdoor activities like archery, a challenge course and zip line, and gaga ball.
