Mental Wellness and Youth with Disabilities (Mar 1)
Parents have the opportunity to learn about mental wellness and youth and also hear from a parent with lived experience navigating the system and supports for her own children.
A panel presentation of parents and youth will share their experiences with the move to high school. This will be followed up with an opportunity to learn about TVCC programs and services for youth during the high school years.
Connect with other families and gather resources in this monthly series. This is a partnership presentation with CSCN, CHWO at LHSC, CLL, LDCSB & TVDSB.
For those who are experiencing challenges with any part of toilet training. As a group, participants will have a chance to ask their own questions as well.
What is Going On? An Intro to Puberty and Sexuality
(Mar 15 or 21)
This presentation will teach you how to use behavioural strategies to prepare for, and minimize, the challenges associated with puberty for teens with autism.
A webinar welcoming parents and caregivers of preschool age children who may have sensory challenges. Parents will be introduced to what the sensory systems are and how they work.

Explore your emotions through music. On Mondays, we'll gather together and listen to the songs everyone chose and talk about them and how they made us feel.
Each session, there will be a guided group activity where participants will work together to build something out of Lego, followed by some open creative building.
Caregivers and parents of youth 12 yrs+ can share their experiences, information, challenges, successes and strategies, or just hang out and drink some coffee!

With something new each Friday, this event is structured around two common themes: FUN and FRIENDS. Youth-aged siblings are also more than welcome to attend.
