What You Should Know About Iowa’s New Pass-Through Entity Tax (PTET)

A new law passed in Iowa in 2023 applies to business owners with a partnership or S corporation. It’s referred to as the “Pass-Through Entity Tax” or PTET. Partnerships and S-corporations are known as “pass-through” entities for tax purposes because the business income passes through to the personal tax return of the owner. For calendar year filers, the deadline is April 30, 2024.

Iowa Prayer Breakfast

For 63 years, The Iowa Prayer Breakfast has hosted Iowa’s Governor along with hundreds of legislators, businesses, and community leaders. This annual gathering unites Iowa’s Christian Community and Syverson Strege is proud to support and attend this inspiring event. Syverson Strege team members Bobby Daniels, Christina Gayman, Jennifer Scheck and Ben Geiger had the pleasure of listening to keynote speaker and acclaimed musician, Danny Gokey.

DMARC’s Spring Greens

Syverson Strege is proud to be a longtime patron and partner of Des Moines Area Religious Council (DMARC) and their signature event Spring Greens.
