Register Now for the Virtual Family Medicine Summer Forum 2024, July 12-13. This two-day meeting will be held via a virtual platform that will allow participants to earn up to 14.0 live CME credits. There will be no in-person component, and this is a live-only event, not enduring, so access to presentations and CME credit is only provided to registered participants.

You will earn 10 certification points and 8 enduring (not live) CME credits after successful completion of each KSA; ABFM will award these certification points and enduring CME credits.

Elimination of Non-Compete Agreements

The FAFP continues to follow with interest the Federal Trade Commission's ruling banning non-compete agreements despite the legal challenges already filed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Any members experiencing unfair practices that disrupt competition in your local area can file a complaint via the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Furthermore, the Academy continues to pursue restrictive covenant legislation on the state level that would eliminate non-compete agreements from physician employment agreements. More information will be provided as this issue progresses.
