The UND Wellness Center is our award-winning state-of-the-art health and wellness facility. From fitness training to cooking classes, they have you covered on every facet for developing better physical health:


  • Fitness (group exercise classes, personal training, exercise equipment & more!)
  • Rock wall
  • Recreational sports (including intramural leagues)
  • Outdoor sports equipment rentals
  • CPR/First-Aid training
  • Culinary Corner demo kitchen
  • E-Sports gaming lounge


All enrolled UND students are eligible for Wellness Center membership. Stop by 801 Princeton Street (near the Ralph Engelstad Arena) and start your campus fitness journey!


Anyone with a valid UND Parking Permit, including housing, commuter, and Greek permits, can park in the lot during enforced times without receiving a ticket.

Your Membership

The University Counseling Center offers in-person and tele-mental health services to enrolled students. Clinical services provided by the UCC include:


  • Individual counseling
  • Crisis counseling
  • Groups & workshops
  • Personal evaluations
  • Substance use services


The UCC also hosts many on-campus events, including group yoga and meditation sessions. To schedule an appointment, log on to the UND Health Portal and select the Appts tab on the top left of the screen.


You can visit the UCC on campus in McCannel Hall, Room 200 (located behind the Memorial Union).

Student Health Services is your clinic away from home, providing professional medical & psychiatric care in a comfortable, safe environment. Some of the medical services staff can provide include:


  • General medical care (physicals, illness, minor injury, lab work, etc.)
  • Immunizations & screenings
  • Psychiatric & mental health care
  • Sexual health services (contraception & counseling, STI screenings, pregnancy tests, etc.)
  • Skin care services


The SHS office is located in McCannel Hall Room 100, behind the Memorial Union.


For emergency care, please dial 911 or visit Altru Emergency Room on South Columbia Road in Grand Forks (located just south of the UND campus).
