Welcome Martin Slough Dock to the CRYA Portfolio!

We are proud to announce that we have completed the acquisition of the Martin Slough Docks from Columbia River Yacht Club. We are working now to get the dock cleaned and sealed, re-anchored as well as adding signage as to the docks purpose for boaters. We have visions of a floating dog dock for keeping animals off of the island as the owner has requested many times. Watch for more information as projects continue and enjoy what we are working for in CRYA.

Poker Run 2021 - August 21st

We are in the planning stages of having an Open House day at the clubs where we have destination stops for the Poker Run event. This format will allow land based participants to see other club facilities, as well as get your next card drawn. We will have the locations verified shortly. The new website is already being populated with sign up sheets and the particulars for the event.
Senate Bill 859 - Increase the Marine board abandoned and derelict boat fund from $150K to $1M.

Update: At this point in time, both the SB740 and SB840 have been replaced with a new one, Senate Bill 859. This bill allows for the increase of the maximum amount allowed in the Abandoned and Derelict Boat Account to increase from $150,000 as it is today, to $1Million in the future. The goal is to jumpstart the fund with an initial $1M seed money, then work to create a long term solution. This allows almost immediate access to funds for boat removal as needed. A big win for everyone! Stan Tonneson needs to be thanked for his efforts. If you are unaware, he owns Rocky Pointe Marina and really has been driving for a solution. I'm sure we'll hear more soon, but right now this is pretty big news.
The 2021 CRYA Golf Tournament
Saturday Sept. 18th, 2021 at Wildwood Golf Course
Sponsored by: Sheffield Marine Propeller

We will have ready before the next general meeting all the forms needed to sign up to be a foursome team to compete, or for support of the tournament through sponsorship. It will be a best ball, shotgun start style event, with chances for hole in one prizes, as well as some best shot categories during play. Please, start thinking about joining us this year as it has always been fun, good experience, and a chance to meet other fellow boaters. Andy Meyer is the Golf Tournament Chair, you can contact him with any questions you may have. Here's to a great end of year outing as we begin the exit of Covid restrictions.
