Queen’s Second-hand Shuffle is a sustainable move out initiative. Students, donate your gently used items and find something you need for FREE. Help reduce waste and give back to our community. From furniture to electronics and clothing, the Shuffle accepts a wide range of functional items to find a new home. No mattresses or mattress pads, please. Look for the entrance laneway between Chown and Adelaide Hall. For more info contact ocla@queensu.ca.

Students can register to pick-up a FREE Mason Jar that contains all the ingredients and spices to prepare a quick, easy meal which makes approximately 4 servings. Provided by the SWS Health Promotion Hub.

Identifying and Responding to Someone in Distress 


This Student Wellness Services session helps students, staff and faculty learn how to recognize when someone is struggling and how to respond with particular emphasis on immediate distress and/or crisis. Participants will gain practical tips on what to say and what to do in order to connect students with the appropriate resources available on-campus, in the community and/or online.
