Membership Meeting Round Up
DCCA Members joined together online for the October monthly meeting. Members heard updates on DCCA’s activities on the 17th Street bike lane re-design and the Mason Temple site construction from DCCA President, Susan Volman, and discussed their views and concerns about these issues.

Members also heard from DC Council Chair Phil Mendelson and asked him questions about public education, the McMillan development, homelessness, crime, rats, and the Council’s role and process for oversight of DC agencies, particularly DDOT and DCRA, particularly DCRA’s responsiveness and enforcement at the Temple site.

The next membership meeting on November 1st will be devoted to the pros and cons of the 17th Street re-design.
Masonic Temple Site Work Continues
Construction continues on the controversial apartment building behind the Masonic Temple. This document shared in the ANC Rep. Mo Pasternak's newsletter indicates that noise levels will be consistent with what they were towards the end of September.
