ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT

37 children and their families gathered on our campus for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Special thanks to Faith Archer, Lori Herrick, Luke Archer, Nate Sand, and Mike Sand for their help before/during/after the event + countless others who stuffed eggs or donated eggs and candy!

CHECK OUT WHAT'S HAPPENING:

• Spring Break Date Changes | Tuesday and Wednesday activities will not meet next week due to Spring Break. Also note that Wednesday night Bible study does not meet tonight due to Holy Week.

• Welcome Table Dates | We are responsible for Welcome Table on two Mondays in April -- but please notice the dates -- April 8 and April 29. These are NOT consecutive Mondays like usual. We can always use desserts (individually wrapped) and volunteers. Questions? Contact Nell Bovender, 828-429-9129.

• FBCR now has an Instagram account as well as our Facebook page. If you're on Instagram, give us a follow! Our handle is: fbcrutherfordton

• We now have a notary on staff! Tina Bean, our church administrator, just completed notary training and is available to notarize forms you may have. Simply reach out to her by email or by calling the church office to schedule a time to stop by.

• Senior adults are invited to a covered dish luncheon on Wednesday, April 10 at Noon in Fellowship Hall! The church will provide fried chicken, bread, and drinks. You are invited to bring other food offerings and join us for a wonderful time of fellowship around the tables. After we eat, there will be a short time of discussion around our senior adult ministry plans for the future. Give some consideration to whether you could join the senior adult ministry planning team! Senior adults can be aged 50 and above, retired or not! Hope to see all of you there!

• If you'd like to receive prayer request updates throughout the week, in addition to the prayer list found in the weekly newsletter, request to be added to our new prayer distribution email list! Just click here and add your name and preferred email address. You can also join by calling or emailing the church office.

• Midwives of a Movement, a documentary film chronicling the stories of the women who boldly birthed a movement to seek greater visibility and opportunities for women in the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) 40 years ago, is being shown at First Baptist Church of Asheville on Sunday, April 14 at 4:00 p.m. (note the time change). If you'd like to attend the screening and carpool (and grab dinner in Asheville afterwards), reach out to Aimee.



• More volunteers are needed to assist in the preschool room on Sundays during worship. Volunteers are background checked and trained. You are generally scheduled to volunteer one time every 8 weeks. No experience needed, just a kind heart for children. Contact Donna if you would like more information.
