With cold weather and flu season in mind, the February meeting will be conducted online via zoom and will include neighborhood updates, including the Connecticut Avenue Streetscape and Deckover projects and a speaker from the Office of the Attorney General's Equitable Land Use Section, which has recently taken on a new role to advocate for the public interest before the Zoning Commission and Board of Zoning Administration, and a Q and A!

Dupont's Potomac Phil Groundhog Predicts...
|
|
Dupont Festival held its 12th annual Ground Hog Day event on Thursday, featuring Potomac Phil. His prediction was for an early spring followed by 6 months of political gridlock. Ward 2 Councilmember Brooke Pinto presented a resolution proclaiming Ground Hog Day a DC Holiday.

Volunteer to Help with Community Tree Care

Wangari Gardens.
Join Casey Trees to help care for the young trees surrounding Wangari Gardens. our help with weeding, mulching and watering these vulnerable trees will give them a leg up in becoming an important part of our growing tree canopy. Participants will receive a short, hands-on training on site. After learning the tools and techniques, participants will split up into groups and begin caring for trees throughout the park.

DCCA Non-Profit Accountant Needed

DCCA is in search of an accountant to handle its non-profit reporting needs on a cyclical basis. Our reporting requirements are minimal, and we prefer to work with someone either in the neighborhood or at least in DC.
