Dear middle school families,
We are sending a reminder that middle school students need to bring these items to school every day.
Contact Tracer: Please remind your student to put on their contact tracers before leaving the house for school in the morning. We check each student coming into the building to ensure that they have this important safety tool. Students in 7th and 8th grade will be asked to call parents to bring their tracers if they have forgotten them. Please partner with us as we strive to keep our community as safe as possible.
Headphones: Zoom is still a part of our teaching to bring students at home and in the room in various groups together. Headphones are an essential tool for our work. We would appreciate it if you could ask your student to show you the headphones they use with their school computer and make sure they are put in their bag. Any kind of headphones will work. These may be different than the headphones that they use with their phone.
A refillable water bottle: We have plastic cups for students who forget, and we've been seeing more and more students using those disposable cups. We'd like students to utilize more environmentally-friendly items.
Small white-boards: These were issued to students in the fall before we went remote and are a part of classes, whether in or out of the building. They easily fit in a backpack and should always be with the student.
