Pfeiffer Falls Trail

Hike the beautiful Pfeiffer Falls Trail. The hike is 1.3 miles long out and back and takes about 50 minutes to complete. The hike is fairly easy, if you go clock wise you will see the falls last. If you're only looking to see the falls hiking the eastside is the best option.

Point Sur State Historic Park

There is so much to see at Point Sur State Historic Park. The lighthouse is the only complete, turn-of-the-century light station in California that is open to the public. The lighthouse has remained in operation since August 1, 1889. You can also check out the Point Sur Naval Facility, it was once used to track Soviet submarines. There are tours for both the lighthouse and Naval Facility available.

Fernwood Resort

On the beautiful Big Sur River beneath the majestic Coastal Redwoods. Fernwood Resort borders the state park; hike from here. The resort includes a motel, campground with tent cabins, bar, grill gallery, groceries, video and DVD rental, espresso, and ice cream bar.
