Tell us about a powerful global experience you've had while at MSU:

Last semester, we had the privilege to have a Zoom call with a woman in Guatemala. We heard her story about how the education and legal systems are in the United States. Her perspective peeled back another layer for me, because I could see firsthand that there are issues not just nationally but globally for many people, and that there needs to be change.

Why did you join GECP?

I liked the idea of being able to travel, with an understanding of the global perspectives of education.
