This year, applicants and winners will receive statewide recognition in a variety of ways.

  • Winners from all categories will be honored and receive a trophy during the 2021 Annual Conference.

  • In order to bring community leaders and elected officials to help accept your award, winners are notified prior to the annual conference.

  • A professional promotion package will be provided and includes customized press materials and social media tools to help you get the local and statewide recognition you, your team and your project deserve.

  • Winners will have the opportunity to provide a promotional video and will be featured on FRA's website, social media, weekly newsletter and other marketing materials.

  • All applicants will be featured in the 2021 Best Book.

AWARD SPOTLIGHT:
TRANSPORTATION AND TRANSIT ENHANCEMENTS AWARD
Congratulations to the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency for winning the 2020 Transportation and Transit Enhancements Award!

The City of Pompano Beach CRA's project, Atlantic Boulevard Bridge Enhancement, incorporated nautically-themed infrastructure and customized elements to the bridge, such as grand bridge entrances, repurposed pedestrian walkways and tender house façade improvements.

The focus was to create a sense of community and add art elements to the transportation in Pompano Beach. The Pompano Beach CRA developed this bridge to serve as a landmark and a sense of place and destination whether traveling by land or water.
