Congratulations to the Class of 2021

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the class of 2021!
We want to congratulate our Avondale House graduating seniors. The journey to achieve this accomplishment has not been an easy one. Now, another milestone in their lives has been reached. What a great day of celebration for these graduates, their families, and for Avondale House! We are overwhelmingly excited for what the future holds for these students.

At Avondale House, we provide a community where individuals with autism are welcomed and accepted for exactly who they are. Our services include a residential program, a year-round school, adult day program, and employment services.

Because of support by companies and individuals in our community, we continue to provide high-quality services and resources for those most profoundly affected by autism. Support a great cause and have fun while doing it by becoming a sponsor at The 2nd Annual Bingo Bash!
Free Info Session Tonight at 6:30pm!

If you are interested in participating in the January 2022 Chevron Houston Marathon Weekend of Events (5k, half marathon or marathon) and want to add meaning to your miles, please join us for a short information session about Team Avondale House!

Bike to the Beach with Avondale House

We are so excited to partner with Bike to the Beach for the 3rd year in a row! This fun event will take place on October 30, 2021.

Bike to the Beach is a 25, 50, 100-mile ride for everyone from a weekend warrior to seasoned cyclist. Anyone can do it, and every rider makes an impact for autism and developmental disabilities.
Thank You, Alex's 5k!

Our sincerest thanks to Alex's 5K Run/Walk for their generous contribution to Avondale House! Alex's 5K is an annual event to honor the life of Alex Jamrich, the late son of Milan Jamrich and Kathi Mahon. Alex passed away unexpectedly one month short of his 18th birthday on May 15, 2010. Alex was autistic and his death was likely due to complications associated with this disorder. Each year Alex's 5k donates the proceeds of the event to autism-related organizations. To date, Alex's 5k has donated $81,500 to Avondale House. We are grateful to be chosen as a recipient of this award.
