The wheel of the year has again turned to Easter,
the creeks have found their bubbling voice again.
The flowers push through.
We gather this morning to celebrate the triumph of life over death.
The body can be killed but the spirit cannot be quenched.
-An Easter Prayer by Rev. Megan Lynes
Join Us - All Welcome
Good Friday, April 16, 6:30 - 7:30 pm
Join us outside South Church this Friday at 6:30 pm.
We will reflect and share as a community, while giving expression to those things that have broken our hearts.
This simple gathering will include creating a “wailing walk” on the pathway from the street leading into the Sanctuary. There will also be the opportunity to plant a bulb, symbolic of burying into the earth that which does not give life until it returns anew as a beautiful flower. We look forward to sharing this time together.

Ukrainian Easter Egg Workshop "Amazing!"
Thank you to all who came to learn the meditative art of psanky, Ukrainian Easter Eggs, and a special thank you to teacher Gretchen Beckhorn who donated her time and the materials and to Robin Larkins who arranged for the class.

Not only did participants learn to make their own psanky, the event raised $510, benefitting Yonkers-based AFYA Foundation Disaster Response Hub: Ukraine Airlift of vital humanitarian and medical supplies.
