UPDATES FROM THE FIRST CHURCH
RE-OPENING TASK GROUP

Check back each week for information and updates regarding the re-opening protocols at First Church.
You are invited to join us for a 4-week Bible Study
of the book of Ecclesiastes!

Sometimes considered the most curmudgeonly and cynical of all the books of the Bible, Ecclesiastes is also praised for telling it like it is. This book of wisdom also reminds us that the great joys in life are fairly simple: snuggling under the covers, having close friends and/or a sweetheart, sunlight, rest, eating good food and drinking good wine, and a good days' work.

The book study will be held on Thursdays in May, starting May 6th, from 7 to 8 pm. There will be reading and a short homework assignment you will be expected to complete before each class. Please sign up by Tuesday, April 27th so we can order books for all those who will be participating in the study. Click the button below to learn more register!
First Church Book Group

The Book Group is reading and discussing Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neal Hurston.

Book Group meets each Tuesday at 4pm via Zoom. Please call Marci Peterson at (440) 774-3118 to receive the Zoom invitation or if you have questions. All are welcome.
Next week we will begin to read The Soul of America by Jon Meacham.
