Summer has officially arrived, and we are excited to welcome everyone back to the farm for our 6-week Summer Session! We can't wait to witness the amazing achievements and successes our participants will experience this season as they team up with our incredible therapy horses, amazing staff, and dedicated volunteers. Let the summer adventures begin!

As we kick off the official start of summer, we are excited to announce a great new program being offered at the farm. Southern Reins' 4-week Unbridled Summer Program begins July 9, and registration is now open. The session will be filled with fun, growth, and learning for children ages 11-17. Join us for an enriching experience where partipants can enhance their communication skills and self-awareness, and build confidence while developing life skills through interactive sessions with our therapy horses.

Lastly, we would like to share a huge congratulations to Austin Cash, Equine Care Assistant and PATH Intl. Instructor in Training, on his graduation from the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture Master Horse Program! We are so excited to see how Austin's extended equine knowledge and professional development will benefit our herd at Southern Reins.

Ike has a Sponsor

Thank you, Ross Family!

A heartfelt thank you to Carrie Ross and the Ross Family for their incredible sponsorship of therapy horse, Ike. Your generous support is so greatly appreciated to help us provide him with essential veterinary care, feed and hay, and farrier services so he can share priceless moments of accomplishment with all of his participants.

Therapy Horse Jazz Receives a Stylish Makeover

One of our amazing Occupational Therapy incorporating Hippotherapy clients gave Jazz a makeover during one of their visits this month! Decked out in colorful clip-on braids and bows, Jazz was looking as handsome as ever. Adding to his wardrobe is not only a ton of fun, but it also engages his rider's sensory, neuromotor, and cognitive systems to help them achieve their functional goals.
