If you remember, I posted a preview of this story in this newsletter last July. Well, I finally got it finished and published. The good news is it's selling great so far and might actually make June one of my best months ever. The bad news is it took eleven months to get here!!

Part of the reason for the delay was a struggle to get the tone of it right. The storyline starts out as incest roleplay -- which I haven't written before -- between the main character and not one but two women, a mother and daughter, one of whom wants to roleplay being his daughter while the other roleplays being his mother, mixed with real incest between the women. So, it became a question of treating the real incest with complete seriousness while keeping the roleplay as play and imagination, without them clashing.

Then several plot twists keep shifting the relationships around. If I say too much about that, I'll spoil my own book. But it did mean the plot became as much about the repercussions of the past as it did the present events and how they connected and it was hard to get it into balance. The plot inflated enough to reach 20,000 words, but with only a few major sex scenes. A lot of the sex relevant to the plot happened in the past, so isn't described in detail. There might be room for several prequel stories there to make it a series, though.

The other reason for the delay, unfortunately, is stress going on in my own life, that I won't delve into here, which drained my creativity quite a bit. The same thing has impacted my drive to keep up with this newsletter's weekly schedule, as you might imagine.

In the end, I had to decide that this story was as good as it was going to get it, publish and hope the readers enjoy it. As I mentioned, it's selling well in its first week, certainly better than my last sci-fi erotica release "Into Another World" and already half-way to the sales mark of "Secrets of Taboo Pond", which has been out for 18 months.

But I really ought to be able to do better than releasing 30000 words in 18 months!!

Hopefully, my next story idea flows from me more quickly. The story idea I'm thinking of has a man give his new wife, who's bisexual, permission to be with other women, so long as she shares them with him in threesomes. He then comes home to find her in bed with his college-age daughter, thinking that he won't enforce the rule against her, when the daughter is well aware of the rule and wants to be his lover. Working title: Daddy's Loophole. Feel free to email any feedback you have about it.
