Free Online Healthcare Delivery Science, Management, and Policy Classes Available
The Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa’s Healthcare Delivery Science, Management, and Policy (HDSMP) Distinction Track leaders have created a free online classroom for practicing physicians in Iowa. The online classroom has expert lectures on HDSMP topics such as operations management, policy in Iowa, and managerial accounting. The goal of the classroom is to provide free on-demand HDSMP education to practicing physicians in Iowa and to offer an opportunity for physicians in Iowa to apply their new skillsets as mentors for medical student capstone projects. Physicians interested in learning more about HDSMP will be given access to the online classroom and asked to complete a <10 question survey about the value of the education. Persons interested in additionally applying their skills may be paired with a medical student to complete a research, service, or quality improvement project in the field of HDSMP. Please reply to the following survey link with your email address and level interest so that the leadership team may contact you or answer your questions.
