NEW - Abrasion Resistant - Hard Coat Clear Glass Coating

Abrisa Technologies now offers PRO-HC-VIS1, a protective anti-abrasion hard coat clear glass coating option for high traffic contact scanner applications which delivers up to 40X more linear taber abrasion resistance when compared to uncoated glass and HIE™ chemically strengthened glass surfaces.

PRO-HC-VIS1 coating can be applied to a wide range of Abrisa Technologies’ materials:

  • Low Iron Soda Lime & SCHOTT Borofloat®
  • Non-Glare & Anti-Reflection Coated Glass
  • HIE™ Aluminosilicate Strengthened Glass
  • Custom Coated Technical or Specialty Glass

Performance:

  • 20-40X Enhanced Wear Resistance
  • 100-400X Enhanced Resistance to Sand

Thin & Ultra-Thin Glass and On-Demand Laser Marking
Abrisa Technologies offers ultra-thin ≤0.4mm technology glass for next generation devices needing miniaturization, slim formats, flexible glass, lightweight components, or bio/chemical compatibility.   • Laser etched graphics, icons and unique identifiers (QR codes and barcodes)

These two methods of laser engraving and etching add to the company’s Total Solution approach of single-point accountability for fabricated specialty glass components.
Coated Windows Solutions for Sensors & Scanners
Abrisa Technologies offers Total Solutions for sensor and scanning windows with an excellent balance of optical coating performance and economies of scale.

The offering includes coated solutions for both laser line and broad spectral ranges from the visible to SWIR, with large angle-of-incidence accommodation and high throughput. Spectrally selective coatings for use outdoors or with discreet diode emitters are also available.

Custom Indium Tin Oxide & Index-Matched Indium Tin Oxide (ITO/IMITO) coatings for photonics. Optimized for durability & index matched for transmittance in excess of 98%. Optional glare reducing broadband & laser line anti-reflective properties.
Dichroic Filters

Solutions promoting color or signal separation, signal and “color” isolation, color temperature correction, aesthetic lighting effects, selective wavelength or color illumination, Dichroic color separation, filters for Heads Up Display (HUD).
