Thanksgiving is and remains a complicated holiday. An authentic look at history's treatment of indigenous people requires us to acknowledge our past transgressions and step into our responsibilities for improving the human condition. In the spirit of renewal, let's take a moment to pause and reflect on the deeper purposes of reverence, respect, gathering, giving thanks, and celebrating with those we love.

At Setser Group, we connect with people every day among our team, clients, and partners. While we'd like to say we always show up in emotionally intelligent and respectful ways, the reality is that we are evolving in the way we improve ourselves, each other, and our world. This Thanksgiving, let's try to renew and restore relationships we've lost and strengthen those that matter so much. In this week's e-letter, we wanted to express thanks and gratitude to all of those in the Setser Group community who make the world a better place each and every day. Please join a bigger virtual table this year by knowing that you are seen, valued, and an inspiration for our firm's work.
