Attitude Is Everything

Starting the Week Off Right

Good Morning,

I find this extremely tough to do. Maybe you do too. Somebody says something we disagree with and we, so badly, want to set them straight.

There are times when we should, as difficult as it is, keep our mouths shut.

A few that come to mind are:

When we have posed a question and they don't answer quickly.

When would only provoke a fight, and one not worth fighting.

When they don't believe us any way and our saying something would only make them

dig their heals in even deeper.

When they, really need to learn from experience aka find out the hard way.

When we wish someone else in the group get credit and wish to encourage them to

          speak up.

When it is not that important enough to spend the time trying to convince them.

When we find ourselves just trying to look good, smart, or whatever, in the eyes of

          others.

When their way is not actually wrong, rather an alternative approach.

And the last: When they have been drinking too much and, more than likely, will not

          remember in the morning.

I’m sure you can add other times for keeping quiet to the list. Feel free to share them via email.
